  • Chill- Lemme break it down as simple as I can on some of us here. The IHoP is like a big dysfunctional family. -M5 would be the uncle everyone respects and takes advice from. We may not like how he p

The easy solution, 6x9 TB subs, and a nice three way up front with 3's in the dash, 7's in the door and tweets in the pillars!

We'll see - although I do like your idea.

Anything I do will be kept real simple ... just because I really don't have the time for any projects right now. I'm still at work :lame:

An easy 2 way front would work, large format tweet in the dash and a driver in the door or wherever they are easy.

ND is one of the 2 states I have not been to yet.

Everybody has to go to Fargo before they die.

uhh.... why?

In particular you would like it.

Fargo/Moorhead population 135,000 and 50,000 college students. Best bar specials pretty much in the country. Not a night you can't go out and get blasted for less than $5 in a bar.

Synthetics are "slicker" than conventional oils, but will not present any of the problems mentioned. I use synthetics only and have used them in countless vehicles over the 100K range without problems. The only time I would ever recommend a "thicker" oil would be to control a noisy lifter, and even then it's just to chance.

The only time conventional oil holds and advantage over synthetic is engine break-in.

I agree completely, although I don't think in a vehicle that isn't driven hard it buys you anything to run synthetic. If you aren't breaking down your oil, no need to use oil that won't breakdown. From the perspective of a car that is driven 3k mi every 3 months, I'd rather change the oil and filter then anyways which further defeats the synthetic advantage.

The M gets it the truck and the w's Audi don't.

Looks like a good reason to start driving harder :D

Yep, obviously I am out of town as that is his stupid camera phone. Not having a pc or digital camera in 2008 is nuts...but at least he will have a nice car.

nice car >>> digital camera

My grandparents get along just fine without a computer

motherfuck, 1:40am, exam at 9:05am, i've studied and haven't retained a single drop of info.

i'm debating just going to bed and cramming a little before class, the past few hours have done zero good

About every part of me wants to keep my EC 90 model Chevy so when I get out of college I can lift it about 3" (2wd) rebuild the engine, maybe stroke it to 383, and add a SC to it. I know engine cost alone would probably be about 4K (w/o labor) and i need around 1K in body work and paint. Sludge and overkill the interior, put descent size tires on it and have a really fun beach truck.

mmm sounds so good

Bah, who needs horsepower? I could go every place that would be able to go in a diesel 'Mog, with better fuel economy ;) Just a lot slower :D

I does!

Plus your mog is not as purdy as Old Blue ;) and the price of diesel SUCKS!!!

Price of biodiesel is a lot better than gas ;)
