The fly height (think stylus floating above the media) needs to be around 20 Angstroms within a year or so.

You can imagine the flatness that the media is then required to have as if they head bounces or fluctuates you lose a lot of data. Ever wondered why your 200gb disk doesn't hold 200gb? You got it, manufacturing flaw in the media. If there are any "mountains" over 20A the head will crash and when the head crashes, your drive crashes. Todays latest PMR drives are already at 80A so the world is getting way smaller. Needless to say they need someone to help them optimize and measure this which is where we will come in.

Went into the library to use the restroom, I really had to go. The 1st floor doesn't have restrooms so I took the stairs to the 2nd floor. Got there and there was a sign that said "Out Of Order - Please use facilities on another floor, we are sorry for any inconvenience."

So I hit the stairs to floor 3 and same thing. By now I really got to pee and my hearts beating from running up the stairs. I get to the 4th floor and see the same sign so I scream out loud, "What damn floors do the restrooms work on?!?!", people start staring...

Get up to the 5th floor and there's no sign, thank goodness! Walk into the restroom and see the signs on every stall and urinal and see a guy walking out with a stack of "out of order" signs. I say, "you bastard!" see him scamper away and I just start laughing
