I'd do the initial higher, closer to 350 in particular if your oil vat isn't really large since if you drop below 300 or so they will really soak up the oil.

I've been feeling a little off all day....turns out my cellphone and Windows clocks added an hour to themselves... :suicide-santa:

hmmmm, mkay so 350/375? sounds good...I really need to get one of those counter top fryers...hate having to dance around the thermometer...and I'm super ultra lazy

I never had it over 160 .

Okay, I now view you as a crazy man. This is just an absurd speed in that vehicle. Mine got floaty around 85. Of course I didn't have the suspension of the SHO or any of the aerodynamic stuff, but damn, that is just crazy.

Not only that mine had nothing stock on it suspension wise anyways. I never held that speed, but it got there really quickly.

alrighty its not even 1PM on Sunday and all the cleaning, laundry, and shopping is done....something is wrong with me...

The fast one I had was a 1990 Ford Taurus SHO, with a laundry list of mods including a supercharger.

I don't think I've ever shifted anything at 8.5k...

If I tried that in the F-150 something would have broken :D

I bet your valves float so bad that your rpm is limited and you couldn't get anywhere near there. Sort of a factory rev limiter on the old stuff.

I think that's what happens in the Camaro too. That or it just runs out of airflow.
