My roommate has this wierd tendency to lock the front door. He'll lock it ALL the time. Teh roomie and I were sitting on the couch last night watching TV, and it was time for Josh to go to bed, so he saunters across the living room, flips the deadbolt, saunters back into his room.

WE WERE SITTING ON THE DAMN COUCH NOT 8 FEET FROM THE DAMN DOOR!

WE DON'T LIVE IN THE DAMN GHETTO!

Hell if we have guests come over, he'll lock the door behind them. WTF?!

A woman does not want to walk in a house that 3 guys live in and have the door locked behind her!

He isn't from a place where that has ever been a problem, and this house is the last one that someone wants to rob if we are home... There are way to many guns in this house for a robber to feel safe...

Two roommates get home, know the third is going to be home in about 5min, so they lock the door so the third has to find the keys etc....

I'm not saying that locking the door is a bad thing its just the way he does it that is weird as hell. I do NOT want to be having to unlock the damn door during parties!

Make them in two parts, wouldn't be that hard to do. Then you could put some 12" ones up there.

jsut got back from the boy's new martial arts class. he just got promoted to blue belt. and i'll be starting there myself tomorrow night. some mma training, judo and various other disciplines. ought to be fun.

Holy shit, this wood filler came out nice on pine.

Still not sure what I'm going to use on the Sandeply. A light oak stain came out too yellowy on the test pieces I was doing, maybe Danish oil would be darker...

TMAX's girlfriend and her roommate lock the deadbolt EVERY TIME they enter and exit their room. No matter what time of day.

*weird part* the bottom lock on the door automatically locks when you close it!

So the door is already locks no matter what, you can't help that, but they deadbolt it for good measure...
