I need to do the same although this time it is the stereo for the house :)

That's far more fun ;)fing05.gif

And far more money. The first part isn't quite so exciting as whole house audio comes before the fun audio. Mostly since I have to do the wiring for other things, but I figure I might as well integrate a "system" while I am at it. Then I can start scheming on what to build for mains for three different rooms.

Welcome to 2008. I will have stereo in more than 10 rooms and not a single one of them will have that trendy but useless surround sound crap.

If it were me, I'd probably run 10 different things :D

I guess the multiroom things are cool, but I'd rather have the variety :)

we paid right at $1k (with a $500 discount) for our lg 50 plasma, but it's 1080, and got an additional 2 year warranty.

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:

Now THAT is a steal!

that's the cool thing about her working where she works, lol. we do get some deals. even if we paid full employee price, the 50 would have been about $1600. about $1900 if we went lcd, and that's on payments or just out the door.

All non-critical rooms get built in's, the 3 critical (not counting the home theater room) will get mains. The amps will all be in the basement with the speakers local in each room. Every room will have a "local" input if you want variety but also able to play whatever else is oging on throughout the house.

The built-in's will just get some sort of cheap power as for the other channels I currently have enough Adcom amps laying around to take care of them. When I need more power things will change :D

There's nothing else going on in the world that CNN needs to run over an hour of BS dedicated to what Hillary or Obama think about religion?

I'll watch crab fishing instead, thanks...

So now I have this urge to start making custom K-State signs... I think I've got it somewhat figured out how I'm going to do it. It involves purple LED's, clear acrylic, black acrylic, and a walnut frame. Should look pretty good when I'm done.

Filling brad nail holes is excruciatingly boring :(

Of course, if these were little "bookshelf" speakers it'd be a different story...

Baseball usually starts funky then gets back to normal as things go on

Sox/NY game on. Good.

GO YANKS!

If the beginning of the season is any indication of the rest of the year, it's going to be insane. Sox and Yanks are both at the bottom of the division.

Let the O's win a few in the start. Their fans need delusions of grandeur... :neil::peepwall:

I have a feeling by October it'll be back to where it usually is...
