Work or other things that made the day long?

No work today. Woke up early, walked to my car, went skateboarding for god knows how long then addressed some "issues" that needed to be dealt with.

But skateboarding went awesome. Learned a few new tricks on the mini ramp and my ankle isn't bothering me too bad. I think I'm on my 7th year of skating. On and off for the last two because of my gimpy ankle.

Never done skateboarding... That and gravel just don't mix to well.

It's fun Stuff. When you get used it at least.

Eh, I'll leave it to you, just doesn't appeal to me to much...

Lol it's probably a good idea on your part. I saw some guy about my age try to drop in on the mini ramp today, probably had never rode a board before.

Guy with no skateboarding experience + Mini Ramp = Laughing at the expense of anothers pain and humiliation.

He dropped in and didn't lean forward enough and the board shot forward an went onto his tail bone pretty bad. Then tried a few more times too. Lost his footy on his back foot and his front foot stayed on and he did the splits pretty good. That's when he quit I think.

Got me a skateboard for christmas about 15 years ago...didn't take but two weeks for me to realize that there ain't no way in hell this is gonna work...been a damn good furniture and large appliance dolly ever since

Lol I almost got to that point. Long boarding is the way to go. That isn't too hard to learn and is almost better than trying to do tricks. Just find a hill start at the top and bomb a hill. I can easily hit 25-30mph. Doesn't seem to fast but if you have to jump off going that fast, you better hope you have a helmet on!

Really anxious to see how he does in the pros now, he was a blast to watch here and made some amazing plays so I can hope he does the same.
