Actually surprising how many Vikings fans are in Kansas. Everytime I visit customers there, there is purple and gold in lots of places.

Of course up here, you have to realize that we have no college sports (excluding Hockey ) so the Vikes are it.

The Vikes are going to battle field position this year and between our D and All Day I think we are going to win that battle. Bring back the old Black & Blue Division, the Purple People Eaters return this year.

I would love to see that happen.

No honestly I didn't. I am terrible at keeping track of sports. I did much more when I was in sales. Gave me good common ground. Now I just watch them, on and off.

Gonna have to start cheering for the Packers now since they picked up K-State's hero, Jordy Nelson.

I was surprised he ran a plus 4.5 40 yard dash. I always thought he was faster, especially with how he pulled away from KU's Aqib Talib this year (who ran a 4.4). Aqib isn't going to be any better than possibly a nickel corner in the NFL. I think he's overrated.

It's kind of interesting what a couple of years can do for a player at the college level. You may know Marcus Watts, who started at safety for KSU a bit. He was in my grade and we went to high school together, were on the basketball team together, etc. I think two years ago there were rumblings that he may go in the 2nd to 3rd round. and now, undrafted and doesn't seem to have any buzz to even get a tryout.

Someone got their panties in a bunch over them here at k-state and sent an e-mail to the dept. head about it. He had horrible grammar in it though.

Meeting with the dept. head about it this afternoon, but boss and I don't think its anything at all, just politics that'll blow over. So I'm not posting anything in public domain anymore.

If your curious more I'll PM you, don't know who it was though. It is someone here at this school, don't know if they are a registered member or just a lurker or what.
