No doubt, thats really sad to hear. I definitely feel your pain. There is always some kind of reason a girl does what she does, albeit it could be a stupid non-logical reason (go figure eh?). Not knowing anything about the relationship there could be something that scared or confused her, so she pushed you away when really you may be what she needed most. She may have been scared of the long term and felt clustered and trapped and just wants some space. It could be family issues and it seems girls will break up with guys when they have nothing to do with it but maybe they feel its the one relationship they can't actually disconnect from. You really can't ever tell your mom that she isn't your mom anymore but you can with a bf. And not to be a pessimist but there could be someone else, which I know is very hard and have good 1st hand experience with.

It's tough to do, but don't sweat it too much, man. Go hang out w/ your friends and have fun (and, by fun, I don't mean going to bars, clubs, strippers, etc.) and just take your mind off of the situation. Give her the space she needs to work things out and enjoy your freedom while she does.

I couldn't have said it better. You never know, she may just need some space. It is these moments that define a relationship. Give her the space she wants, remain faithful and wait it out for a bit. It's a perfect time to learn an instrument or some other hobby that you may have given up when you were younger.

From the last sentance it sounds he left the place they were living together.... but, what it comes down to is who was paying and is it still going to be paid on? Personaly I don't think I would have left untill you had some more things sorted out, but I definately understand your not wanting to be there.
