three girls moving in to a place next year, minji asked for a place where the rent difference wouldn't be much, but they chose a place where the rooms are drastically different in size.

now they're hot happy with paying close to the same rent, they want minji to pay basically twice the rent of the lowest room (where before they had agreed on a $20 difference) or for her to take the smallest room.

They are figuring it up by square footage and that's cool if they hadn't agreed on something already, because they've already signed the lease for this place and now they want her to change.

if i was her i'd tell them i wanted out of the lease and expect them to pay for me to get out since THEY want to change the terms

First I ripped out the walls and flooring in the bathroom in the house my dad and stepmom bought for her dad. Linoleum floors = the devil. Then helped put away about 500 light truck tires at my dad's tire shop. and did an oil change and changed the tires on my explorer, but that doesn't really count.

sounds a lot like what my gf just went through this week with her new roommates at her new place. Their rent is basically 250 for each of the 3 girls. At the meeting that the landlord and the three girls had on monday, my gf said that she wants out of the house next may because she'll be getting a job somewhere else (lease ends two months later). Everybody said ok, and the landlord agreed to drop the rent to 650 for the other girls (325 apiece). Everybody agreed at the meeting. The next day one of the roommates sends an email to my gf saying that she should have to pay the difference in rent each month (150 per month) because their individual rents would go up and that is very unfair and they are not ok with it. I'm like that's dumb because everybody agreed on it at the meeting. not only that, but it's only 75 dollars for each of them per month, or 150 for the whole two months my gf would be out of the lease early. You seriously can't handle an extra 75 per month? give me a break. That's so petty. After some deliberation my gf just agreed to pay it just to keep the civility throughout the year they have to live together now.

My bud lived with 3 other guys. There were 2 big rooms and 2 small rooms in the house. First they drew straws to see who got to pick rooms first then the guys with the smaller rooms got the option of moving into one of the bigger rooms the following semester
