sorry, what the job is doesn't really matter. What matters is that i'd have access to pretty much any and every tool known to man. That's including CNC machines and even 3d modelers(don't know the proper name for them)

You talking software like autocad? Or some piece of equipment?

no a piece of equipment that actually builds a tangible model from your cad file.

apparently we even have one that will build it out of steel but that's only rumor, never seen it.

A lot of the rapid prototype machines build stuff out of liquid plastic. They have to do it in layers so they aren't the end all for all shapes, but they can make about anything. Basically printers that lay thin layers on each other until everything is all built up. Pretty damn cool to watch.

was talkin to my dad yesterday night about our boat

the engine is near the age of 20 to 25, and has some considerable rust damage,

last summer i had to replace the lower unit, and this summer the resevior that holds the hydraulic fluid rusted through!

dont know how much that part cost,

but since gas prices are goin up im think i should be able to start finding fairly used outboard engines for pretty good prices,

and i think a 75 would do just fine, current motor is a 88 johnson

dunno but i need to get the thing runnin again
