I seafoamed Midnight Explorer's intake tonight. Even though it has 165,000 miles I was pretty sure the engine was pretty clean anyways, and I didn't gain much by doing it. But I wanted to try it. maybe gained 1/20th of a second in rev time and 2% better idling and rev smoothness. I'll try it in the gas tank later in the week. Not expecting much there, either, though, at least in terms of MPG boost. I'm already getting about 4 (20%) above EPA highway mileage on my commute to work. Right at EPA for highway with only a 75/25 highway ratio. My in-town is killer, though. Get 1 mpg less than rated even with good technique. So that's kinda weird.

I was a little worried at first because of the maybe 1 in 20 stories I'd hear about the seafoam messing up sensors, plugging cat converters, causing oil leaks if put into crankcase because the carbon buildup is what was holding the seals together, etc. But I decided what the hey and tried it. Not sure I want to put it in my crankcase for that reason, though. I don't have any oil leaks and it doesn't burn oil, and I'd like it to stay that way. Don't fix what isn't broken, right? I have just a bare minimum amount of tap but I don't think it's cause for concern at all. It idles smooth as ice. Not glacier ice, though. That's pretty jagged.

was hoping to get to bed early cuz I was up almost two hours past my bedtime last night rescuing my gf out in the country 30 minutes away when her Blazer (ahem) wouldn't start after work. But I guess that didn't happen. dammit.

drove home from work today with only one contact because my right one was bugging the ever living shit out of me so I threw it away at lunch. I thought it was going to be more difficult than it actually was because my eyesight is really bad. Things start getting blurry about 2.5 inches from my face. It's really weird, though. the last couple times I've put in new contacts, the right one will last about 2-3 weeks then just go to crap, getting all dry feeling, blurry, and just hurting. I'll switch it out for another brand I have leftover from a few years ago and everything is peachy for the rest of the two months. My left eye never bothers me like that, and it's the same brand and all. Something about my right eye makes it not like that brand I guess.

All I know is I really want Lasik now.

Bars were pretty empty. It was glorious.

Sat around, visited 3 bars, played some pool, drank some beers, got some free drinks and chilled with friends all night. :)

Got two emails from Summit this morning about my order and shipping. Well, I haven't purchased anything from them in over a year and I sure as hell would not have something overnighted from Ohio. . . Time to call the bank as something's fishy here. Funny thing is, it's to be delivered to my parent's house.

does the ex have any of your info?

Oh how I wish that was true...

almost nailed one one night, but her kid walked in the room and turned on my conscience. I probably should have done it anyway.

I figure I only need to do that if I put it in the crankcase. I do change my oil myself, but I have to wait until I go back to my hometown so I can use my dad's automotive shop. That's a little over 3 hours away so I don't do it often anymore now that I'm out of college.

i expect bad ones. That way I'm never disappointed.

basically get a 15 year mortgage, or buy the property outright in one fell swoop

I don't agree with either of those statements.

Hoping I don't die tomorrow night (21 tomorrow). Going to be drinking water/Gatorade all day...

happy burfday today!

have some booze for me.

Theres the current final design of the Cadi dash. The doors you can't see anything on but they have the 6.5 MLI's in them deadened, ensolite, and sealed up as best I could.

that... is baller

so, if you put 50,000 down payment (20%) and a 15 year mortgage

PMT = 200,000 / [(1-((1.00708333)^-180)/.00708333]

Payment = $1969.48

50,000 down payment + (1969.48 * 12 * 1.00708333 * 15) = 407,157.20 total investment?

Sounds about right ...
