Initial damage report for East Texas:

Over 120,000 without power, 87 known locations of trees on roadways, 58 known locations of downed power lines or outages, 12 known houses with trees fallen on them, and a commercial building with a roof collapse.

I think it knocked out OT.com. Glad we are enough of the radar to not be swamped with a wave of n00bs. ;)

I usually get 2 soles per cork and about 3 per upper then the whole thing goes fuck it.

that is passion. I usualy have some terrible accident that renders them verry dammaged. I just ride them out as house shoes, or ugly mall day shoes, and then eventualy move on and get another pair

Arizona taupe suede everytime. Nothing else.

I don't care if you aren't able to, but typing things like cuz and other similar shit just hoods out the forum.

I know what you mean, and it stinks. But maybe over time they will adjust and improve. Many I sound like a hippie.

you and me both, cuz you know dats how we hippies roll, yo

<-- feet are happiest in birks

Minnesota, voting democrat longer then anyone else.

:P

spend it on the house first mang

the onlything I could do is siding... and I'm not spending it.....

Deck and patio will be next spring, along with fixing the water feature.

I've been spending like a mad man, but in reality, i've only "wasted" 2k.

and I've almost paid that back. I did just pay for the wifes dress though, she went broke on the first 2

=/

Then spend it on HT, jeez.

Sean getting feisty, I like :D

It really is tilting at windmills...as long as there's a disconnect between "what you write for school" and what you do on here there's going to be no connecting to those people.

Am I ever not fiesty?

Don't blame me, I vote based on economics whether or not there are other things I don't or do like. Small government >>>>> big government. I fucking hate inefficiencies.

Winnar Winnar blueberryjam chicken dinner.

my list so far

#1 paid off all debt with interest of higher than 3% or is a liability Check

#2 Buy house and rent rooms and rent my 2nd house. Check

#3 buy 2nd rental property - need to get credit issues sorted out.... I'm pissed. I may just take a HELOC on the second home so I can get paying some MTG under my belt and drive my score up. Pluss the interest is tax deductable. Hot tubs are home impreovement right?

#4 Put aside large chunk for retirement in qualified funds and double HSA amount and increase TDA. Check

#5 Plan for funds for wedding. I told my Financial advisor to keep a chunk safe/low risk. I hope he does, so check. I may just keep some in my savings to pay for it if I need to, or again grab it from a HELOC just to drive my score up.

I'm probably going to eff it all though and remodel the kitchen, and run cat 6 everywhere and start the home integration and make it so when a roomate leaves I can turn the living room into a 2 chan room and create a dining room.

The W started talking about creating a Master suite in the attic and that has me thinking.......

it's weird how the hop dies after what would be the general US lunch break time. all us office jockies only work after we get food in our guts at lunch!

lol

Office, meh

*unemployed bum :(

I need a job where I work in the medical feild, don't have to see patients, do research or pathology, and get paid well.

I'm also too lazy and cheep to get my MD

someone should hire me on my good looks charm and interest and give me some on the job training =)

you are schoolin aren't you Jim?

Yeah...

And this whole concept of on-campus recruitment just annoys me. How sterile and artificial of an environment can you get :(

Who the hell knows what I'll be doing next year. Probably driving a truck in Alaska or something.

Well, I see you doing 2 things, either a hip hop music producer or Crab fisherman!

Good for you on school. Best thing you can do!

I'm out all peace!

Sean, thanks for the info.

So my test drives were rather uneventful as the past few days have yielded nothing but torrential downpours, so it wasn't the best for performance tests aside from testing the AWD systems.

The Audi was very nice, but it has a quirkiness about it I am not ready for. Too many buttons and gadgets and no matter how I adjusted the seat, I could not get comfortable in the car. I loved the power and the Quattro, but all in all, not something I would buy.

The Charger was okay. I really like the looks, but aside from that, it left a lot to be desired. I like it's size, and my inability to really test its performance limits sucked, but I thought it would be a little more luxurious due to its size and all its appointments. Fit and finish were poor, but I went straight to this from the Audi, so I may have been hoping for more. I don't know how they rate on NVH, but this thing had several annoying squeaks and rattles from both the interior and the front end. I did like the fit and feel of the interior. My only gripe is the C-pillars were a huge blind spot issue. I would have really liked to flog this on a cool, dry day.

Now the Volvo I really liked. Like the others I've driven, this thing was dead quiet. There is no hint of 300HP what-so-ever. The AWD system was great, interior was great, it was very roomy, and drove excellent. I think these have the Haldex AWD system, and while it is nice, it seems a little too biased at the front. It could have just been the wet conditions and the TC acting up, but it presented a small amount of torque-steer I did not expect. Overall, this was my best experience of the day, but like the Audi, it has some quirky things I don't like. It must be the European influence.

4 year old Audi compared to a brand new Dodge, I don't think it is too much to ask for good quality craftsmanship. If you are looking at the Audi, have you considered a 325iX ?

I'd agree if it were a 4.2

4.2's sound very very nice

Just got home from a small local meet. Members of some forum decided to hold something every monday, no loud music, no races, no drifts.

Out of the blue an idiot appears in the parking lot attempting a slide with his handbrake and almost hits a light pole. His friend with an Audi hits a taxi car (only a fender bender). In 15 mins the police pops up and after they are through with the idiots that felt the need to show off, they send us home :(

So much for a quiet meet.

wewt, 48 hours of What.cd freeleech this weekend...

No, I haven't. Maintenance money on the Bimmers are out of my range, and if I were to get one, it would be just RWD.
