Today just screeched to a halt.

has anyone had a remote from their deck die? mine is going on and off, i checked voltage @ the headunit and that's the source of the problemo. is there any alternative to a new HU or inline 12v switch? i.e. another wire on the headunit that could be spliced with my remote?
