You forgot Circuit City. It lost 55% today, down to 14 cents a share I think. hehe

"Perks that help a leader to be more efficient and more productive are hardly perks."

So........inefficiency and unproductiveness are good? I see that's worked out well for you.....

Lost 3 tenths with more weight. Going to have to get out there on a cold night to get my 1/8 mile into the single digits :woot:

Get your 60' down to around 2.1 Limiting wheel spin off the hit is crucial.

Actually could have easily been in the single digit 1/8 judging from my early number on my screw up run

Has nothing to do with wheel spin. Just need more power (or better stall) Hell I got 4 wheels to put power to :P

Whoa... I would have thought that stopping the building from sinking anymore would be numero uno on the list before fixing anything else...

Sound like state work almost...

Hey, I resen....I resen....Boy I say I resemble that remark.

thinking maybe of just getting something really fing hot and diluting it with water

diluting works, although with dilution I can just use the run of the mill spray bottle from the dollar store. Oh well, I got a million more uses for the Mistos, anyway..

Damn it Tom. You got me looking into the Mini Baja (not that your entering it but it reminded me of it). Polaris is a big sponsor and I am very familiar with their parts and designs. Our school did it before and I would love to be a part of it and do it again.

Engine must be a 10HP Briggs and Stratton. I am thinking a light weight CVT setup up with the driven clutch connected to a set of chain and sprockets. Offers an easy switch of gearing, its a lot lighter than having a big Poolaris gear box and drive shafts.

Only problem is I think some run 4wd. Would be hard to run a chain to the front of the machine... I also loose reverse but the best vehicles never have reverse

Yay. I'm off to Battle Creek for 3 days. Apparently, we have a Kmart vuilding that is sinking and it broke a water main dumping 50K gallons of water throughout the stockroom. Get to rebuild some walls and ceilings, although I don't see the point when they cannot stop the building from sinking even more. Make sense to anyone?

That was some poor surveying and site inspection prior to the build. although it has probably been, what, like 40 years since it was built?

It depends what's causing the sinking that will determine if it can be stopped or not. I don't think you are getting liquifaction from earthquakes like the leaning tower of Piza there in Indiana. haha. I'm not sure of the bedrock geology up there, but if there is karst in some limestone somewhat close to the surface, that could cause it. That happened underneath I-70 here in kansas. A nearby saltwater injection well's casing was leaking, allowing water to leak out and dissolve the limestone. They pumped cement into the void a couple or three times to raise the road back up, but it kept sinking because they hadn't found the source of the problem and the limestone was just continually eroded away.

But it also (most likely, I think) is just caused by saturated soil and a heavy building. It has been a wet year down here, not sure about up there. Can't do much about that.

soooo happy there's no class tomorrow :)

I'm so happy I don't have work, either. Plus today flew by. It was a good day. Now I'm excited about the anticipation of not having to wake up to my alarm, and laying in bed all morning!

Yeah, bankruptcy protection. They aren't actually bankrupt.......yet. They just got a 1.1 billion dollar loan for working capital while they are in the protection. Either way, nobody is going to be buying their stock. They also just received a warning from the NYSE about their stock being under $1 for over a month. But I don't know what they do? Just kick them out of the exchange I guess?

In other news, DHL is getting out of the shipping business in the US. 9,500 jobs lost in that one.

Because everyone uses 12" PA drivers in their computer speaker setup because they have no other use for them... AKA, for chits and giggles

I see SSA! We use the same skin too! WOW!

Couple pics of what I've been up to in the last 2 months, audio-wise. I really had no time to upload these effing pics.

<-- feels lazy

I have spent a ton of time in Polaris buildings.

I've spent a ton of time in pig buildings, does that count? :)
