Thinking of just making my own damn front motor mount, the factory ones will fail within a year with hard driving, and a custom solid front mount is 130$...

Of course Cadillac in their infinite wisdom decided to put a psuedo fluid filled front motor mount in there for damping of vibrations or something along those lines... Of course when you drive it hard 300ft*lbs of torque will just eat it alive.

Dealership had no idea what I was talking about when I asked for their price of a motor mount...

About 150$ or so for a GM one that WILL break in under 20kmiles with my driving, 130-150$ for a new custom solid mount, or a couple hours of my time to make one. Hmm....

I didn't drive the Turbo, but the Turbo S had to keep itself in check via the traction computer like crazy so I am thinking that going down to only 450hp would be okay. The Turbo S is a $20k adder and puts it way out of range. The Turbo itself will be a stretch, but if that deal is as they state it is I might just pull it off.

If all goes well the Audi A6, M5, and Silverado will turn into a Volvo XC90 for the wife & son and a Cayenne Turbo for me. I think I can live with that.
