Why not the LQ9

I thought about it, still thinking of course. A couple reasons why...

1. LS1 is more original

2. I like the sound of 5.7L ( I miss my 5.7 from the old truck)

3. I want to keep 4L60E, a 5.7 can provide enough power to push the 60E to its limits

4. Better gas mileage out of the 5.7 (I think...)

I don't know the price difference between the 2 but that was a couple reasons. Feel free to tell me most of them are dumb

I can also mod my block to 5.7L So not technically LS1 but I can pic better heads, intake etc...

The worst part was the procedure. It felt like someone was taking a jackhammer to my bone. It's the hip bone on the back just above your ass and I swear every nerve ending is right there. Now it just feels like there's liquid fire running around my lower back. I have to walk like an old man.
