Just like for audio being all in the install, the coffee is all in the grinder. Has to be ground within an hour at most of when you want to use it too. I always laugh when I go into my local coffee roaster and get a batch of beans that was just roasted today and they ask me if I want it ground. My usual answer is, "no thanks, that defeats the purpose"...so yes, I am an ass in real life too.

This is why I love our grinder/coffee maker single unit, grinds then brews immediately.

The stainless steel Cuisinart. Nothing super fancy, just gets the job done well. Just spend more time cleaning it then I do having a cup.

I wouldn't classify it as adequate, but I don't brew drip. If that is your purpose it is probably fine, but if you want a french press or espresso brew I'd like something more consistent.

And the cool thing with seared is that it is super easy to sex up by adding sauces or other accompaniments. In fact, pretty much the only other two ways I cook scallops are on the grill and under the broiler (typically with a cream/parmesan sauce of some sort) are nearly the same. High heat, slow cook time Other methods therefore would work as well.

Scallops sound good actually and I have to run to the co-op anyways

I never said it was for the Korean, good to hear though. Seems to me all girls like asian noodles, not just asians. Of course, I sort of assumed you might chase one.

Reminds me though, I have had scallops on a Korean bbq as well. Great in any of the Yakiniku or Korean sauces.

Caught a nice 2+ lb largemouth today, in what is more or less an oversized pond. He fought nice and hard, too. That's a good way to start off the year.

Some douchebag came and crowded me. I was on one side of a corner of the lake (on shore) and he went to the other side of the corner and began casting perpendicular but straight out in front of me, well within my casting distance. I was like seriously? Oh well, I wanted to move anyway and where I went is where I caught the fish, within 5 minutes.

I played golf today, too, and somehow managed to mess up my left shoulder. It feels like a strained muscle. But I did get one birdie, that made me feel good. Even if I was +9 for the day over only 9 holes.
