fucking asshole ford and thair window regulators...... this is the third time replacing the same one in two years....

this time i found a company that claims to have redesigned the regulator to make up for ford short comings....

we will see...

im doing it today.. its a pain.. eitherway..

while i have my door panels off i was checking out my mid woofer.... do yalls mid bass show any exursion?

It's rampant throughout all companies. I can tell you about thousands of GM, Chrysler, Toyota, Honda, etc., who all have bad regulator designs, and they usually all involve some type of broken plastic.

I have been looking into that company you told me about Ryan, they seam pretty danged amazing. I"m also checking out the STS/rear mounted turbo. I just put in an email to them for S & G's, maybe I can walk away with FI and hold on to a few bucks. I don't know WTF I would get it tuned though. I don't think they have a local dealer.

Al is like THE god of the 5.4, but there are a lot of great modular engine building companies. Most of them cater to the 4.6, but like the 302 and 351, the only main difference is the deck height. The 5.4 shares everything else with the 4.6 right down to even the camshafts and pistons. Rods of course are longer, but everything else is essentially the same.

IMO, I would go with the turbo or a supercharger. Cheap, easy, and reliable. These engine respond very well to power adders.

does Home Depot sell pigeon repellent or something along those lines?

Last time I checked home depot didn't sell guns... ;)

I need something that doesnt have the potential to land me in jail lol

Other than the spike strips that you put on where they perch, I'm not sure what else you can do.

spikes!!!!

nah nah you must make a sheet metel 45 or so slope so when they land they slip off.

Here's what you do, start putting out feed for the pigeons. Do this for a good week or two, to get the birds used to it. Then add poison to it birds die, more birds come see dead birds. They realize "oh Shit" and eventually they move to somewhere else. Only draw back is you will have dead birds in your yard.

They don't need it, and that's why I get nervous that they are just over reaching. It looks pretty interesting, and I liek the idea of some day having a mofular based DI engine. I think that would be pretty interesting.

Really really lends itself to some wicked turbo aplications. They do already, but you get my point.

ohc di ftw

anyone had the chance to drive an amg c63 yet? i wonder what's more fun to go sliding around in, cts-v or c63 (i'll vouch for the cts-v being a riot to ice skate around on pavement)?

yes to both, completely different vehicles.

<-- doesn't fit in a C63 very well :(

poisonous feed, for a day?

ya, I'd like to avoid the dead birds all over the yard thing too

Just have to have some friends over and have a pigeon bonfire lol.

Add some uncooked rice to the bird seed.

slowest hop EVAR

Which is good because I had two days of catch-up to do.

I like the idea of the rear mount Squires turbo idea. They have a universal kit, and I have a buddy who will weld the tubes no problem. I think all I would need it a tune then and maybe bigger injectors.

I read E63!!

The c63 would be more fun I think then hands down. Why? Because in the 2 reviews I have read they said the rear rubber doesn't have enough contact patch. That means super fun wheel spin and a big manly v8!

I am not a fan of the looks of the new c class. I call it the Mazda benz, though it looks much better with the AMG badge than the standard C. I have yet to drive either though. I don't think I would fit either Sean.

I really never ever should have started looking at power adders for my truck......

I'm never comming back form the dark side.

I would love to give it a lift and some big rubber, but I would have a hard time convincing the wife of that, it already doesn't fit into most ramps, and she has to jump to get out and run and jump to get in.

LOL at short people.

although... I lol only because I hurt inside. I will never be able to drive some cars due to height and my shoulders.
