Is it really possible to get clean cuts on ply, MDF, or trim with a hand saw?

I could do so much more having it portable but if I can get clean cuts with such a smaller diameter blade I will have to save up for a big table/carpentry saw. I don't want to do that though. I have other places to put that cash.

Circular saw with the right blade would work

Needs a zero clearance insert as well, not for mdf but he asked for ply as well.

Attempting to set up my Harmony 880 remote again since I changed connections when I moved the TV.

my 880 was a pile, there's no way to adjust how fast the remote cycles through commands when using the activity feature. it went a little faster than my equipment would allow, throwing off the activity sequence every time

dumbass me, I read MDF as plywood, why I don't know...too used to using plywood....*stares at den*

It's the same with plywood. Aside from a worm drive, no circular saws really have enough power to safely use the "plywood" blades.

Yep and are usually much better off with a fast cutting wood blade and a zero clearance insert. 16-18 teeth can cut clean.

I have nothing against the Falken's, they have the coolest name by far. Just have never used them before, and could not afford my beloved Yoko Avid W4S's.

I used to be a big Pirelli fan, and the last set I bought only lasted 5K with no burnouts. I went through a lot of shit with the Tire Rack about it and even got into it several times with a rep from Pirelli NA, but in the end, I was just left disgusted with them. I needed tires that day so I got a set of Kuhmos when they first came out. They were great. I then sold the car, and bought the Cobra which had the same tires on it. At first I didn't like it, but the car was a bit nose heavy in comparison to my previous Mustang. Once I got my suspension finished and was actually able to use the tires, I grew to love them. My father and brother now use them on their vehicles. If they made a stickier street tire, I'd buy them again, but alas. . . Sometimes, you really ARE paying for just a name. GoodYear comes to mind.

It seems like the Japanese tire companies are at the top of the game right now. I agree on goodyear in recent experience.

The Avid's seems to do very well, the ES 100's were a softer sticker tire that in the end I did not need that much grip.

We've currently got 3 sets of Kumho's between the Z71, Accent, and the Corolla. Used to be 4 before the accident. Damn good tires for the money. Suburban is on its second set of Micheline LTX M/S's, tough as nails and lasts a helluva long time...

I have AS Michellins on the beater, and they are pretty good. Hell, they were brand new when I got the car and cost 75% more than I paid for the thing, so it was a win for me. I wouldn't spend the money for them though. I can find the same performance for half the price, although the next set on the steelies will be some winter tires. The current wheels/tires on the GT will be relegated to beater summer duty.

I know mostly nothing of performance tires...probably should learn though...seeing as I now have an E55....heh....at the very least I know I'm definitely not buying summer tires for it...ever...all seasons or none at all as far as I am concerned...
