Yea that is a little much for me. Not bad if you installed systems or had other work uses for it. :)

The voltage will stay fairly steady. The 1200D is underrated so you should be good with anything from 34-38 VAC.

that they are but if your running a ton of power its a tool like a DMM and Clamp meter that you should have. Ive still gotta pick up a clamp meter and a true RMS DMM one of these days

Dizzle, What does it mean when some ppl talk about head units and they say 2v or 4v or 5v output?

its the output voltage the radio gives through the rca wires. The amp also has an input voltage range, something like .2v to 6v. the higher your rca voltage. the less gain you need on the amp

It is the maximum output voltage the radio provides through the RCA outputs.
