Either is fine... we have them IB in Brandon's Bronco from 50 - 200 Hz and they work great.

80 dB

This design was optimized for both small box and low-end extension - as we are bound by Hoffman's Iron Law sensitivity had to go down.

Don't put much stock in a sensitivity rating for a sub-woofer, though ;) With 200-watts they have quite a bit of output.
