May 8, 200916 yr Big dave, Select Products has forming fabric that is about about 1/4 thick. Fishman also had his "fish fabric" but I don't know if he still has his supply shop. If you can get some true Alpine brand fleece it is a good 1/4 inch thick. I will call my distibutors and see if I can find some for ya.
May 8, 200916 yr FISHMAN? U talkin about Dave Riveria & his Plexi Fishtank in the old Honda or Toyota??????YA- I havent found any fabric that thick yet?
May 8, 200916 yr Awesome work. just took time to flip through this whole thread, the work is amazing, i can't think of a word to describe it any better!

May 26, 200916 yr K- bit of a 'tail' (hahaha). I'm at the WORLD FINALS in, hmmm, either Tempe Arizona OR Oklahma City, 90-91 ish? Bin there many times, so I remember things from the locations cuz there's way too many people & vehicles to recall. But- there was this one guy..... Oh- I'm getting ahead of myself. A long time ago, there was this fella- Scrooge McDuck! Donalds Uncle.
May 26, 200916 yr nice build BDave ...and u should write a book ....a lot of car audio freaks would love it ...
May 26, 200916 yr Just read all of that. Sucks. On a positive note, you do some of the most amazing work I've ever seen! And that's the truth!
May 31, 200916 yr Author More pics from Dave. Looks like he got the doors completed:Sealed door:Nice fit and finish:
June 10, 200916 yr Author Ok, so Dave sent a whack of pictures and said he is nearly done with the install. Here are some shots of the amplifier "pods" in a rather random order:This shot is of the amps mounted to the roof so you are looking up at them:These next shots looks like Dave is sizing things up:A couple of shots of the amp pods and sizing up the material for covering:
June 10, 200916 yr Author Here are a few shots of how the rear panel went in:A shot looking through the window with the amps in:
June 11, 200916 yr Author There aren't too many folks out there who would consider challenging Dave's abilities I'm quite certain
June 25, 200916 yr i am going to be so sad when this car is finished =( ... no more amazing craftsman pictures =(
June 28, 200916 yr This is a very creative and intelligent design, its great to see people go the extra yard for car audio. Doors are lovely, amp rack and box are impressive; but a feature I love most is the opening of the rear window to keep amps & processors cool even if they thought about getting warm.
June 30, 200916 yr ik i also saw that jay ... that is nice ... it can also be used to see out of as well unlike my setup =) ... i also love how this project is pinned ahahahah
