November 12, 200816 yr Pretty sure the butlers are still hybrid and not all-tube. No clue on the milberts though. Why are you wanting an all-tube setup?
November 12, 200816 yr No clue on the milberts though.Milbert's 100% tubed.Tru also has a 12AT7/EL84 design...http://www.trutechnology.com/products/copper/c72_at.htmThen there's the Digital Designs one...http://www.audiojunkies.com/blog/463/new-d...-tube-amplifier
November 12, 200816 yr http://www.tubedriver.com/car.phpOne of the ones i've read about for years. reputable company excellent sound, but not "all-tube" sounds just as good to me thoI'd forgotten all about Tru. Edited November 12, 200816 yr by bigtoepfer
November 12, 200816 yr Tubes in car audio... lol.I'd expect them to either not last long due to vibration, or to need constant recalibration. Specifically in class A amps.
November 12, 200816 yr I beg forgiveness if these are not all tube amps:Here's one solution: http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/1965/caramp.htmlPanasonic: http://www.automotto.org/entry/panasonic-c...tting-your-car/
November 13, 200816 yr Author thanks very much for the information on all the amps, i was just wondering if they had them because ive noticed the difference in home audio and from all the guitar playing and whatnot that i do, so i was wondering if people made them since i never really hear of them for car audio, i was even trieng to think if i should try to make my own
November 20, 200816 yr Tru also has a 12AT7/EL84 design...http://www.trutechnology.com/products/copper/c72_at.htmHmmm.....if times get rough enough to where there is rolling blackouts for extended periods, this could be the perfect home audio amp......
November 21, 200816 yr Admin Planet Audio (ZED) had a few tube models. They are fetching good money on ebay.
November 23, 200816 yr someday I'll build me a tube amp for 12 volt application...never heard a tube amp before though...besides a guitar amp
December 3, 200816 yr Planet Audio (ZED) had a few tube models. They are fetching good money on ebay.I hate to revive an old thread but i was gone for a few days.I had one of these amps. About 75watts or so. Really nice. But it was a power hog. I still regret selling that thing
