I got one last week and the other one today. I like how the first one that came in had the black basket, but not a big deal cause it wont be seen. Box build may begin tomorrow after work, but will start sunday for sure. oh yeah, they are BL 18's D2 with cooling, flatwind, universal, and daily and will be run with 2 saz-1500d's.

I agree. The cone on the left has a sort of speckled finish where the cone on the right has a smooth finish.

I think it might just be lighting!

But it looks to me like the black one's cone looks thinner as it goes down compared lol

its not the lighting, the one with the silver basket has a shiny cone on it. I got the box built today, only thing left is put the 45's in the corners, and decide what i am going to cover it with. It turned out ok, well ok for using a skill saw (man i need a table saw). LOL. Will post pics when they are uploaded. It looks huge in expedition. Just got to order other 1500d and figure out where i am mounting everything.

will finish 45's tomorrow and put some resin in it, doesnt look too bad, for my 2nd ported box

and maybe i put enough screws in the double baffle, LOL

updated the pics. still need to paint port, i got in hurry and went on and put it in. Got to cut panel to flush amps and hide all the wires. Definitely the loudest stereo I have had. Glad I went ahead and got the 18s, definitely worth it.
