Posted November 25, 200816 yr Hey BJ,I am in need of a box. I bought two JL Audio 8w7's to go into my 2006 Mustang. Not sure if I want sealed of ported... SQ is the only goal. Can you do amp racks? I will have three Sundown SAX-125.2 amps, two of which will power the subs. Everything needs to be carpeted, and ideally I'd like some easy and fast way to disconnect and carry these out of the trunk. Something like handles or something? What can you, or other forum members, suggest?
December 2, 200816 yr We can come up with something for you. I believe we already have a design based on the trunk of a 06 Mustang to work off of. We can incorporate an amp rack into the enclosure without a problem.Overall, a box for a pair of 8's wont have much weight to it, so I doubt handles will really be necessary.

Would you have pictures of how that turned out? Here's the trick... I bowl so I carry bowling equipment in my trunk. A triple ball bag is typically laying down in there. So the box needs to be rather protected... I don't want anything to be able to get damaged. I'm ready to go! How does this work? Do you send some sketches so that I can see what it looks like?
