room wise im stripping everything out of the back of my car and starting again.. the box in there is 3.5CUft with displacment to give you an idea on how big it is,

i need some ideas of port and sub postioning which way to face them, where to put them? and general box design

also some advice on the actual sub

will be using for :

Daily use 2000RMS @30Hz so what options would be best for the sub?

have you switched your box around to see where it sounds the best as far as port direction? I would do sub up reguardles of port direction you decide on

i have no idea what either way acheives im a noob to this, iv tried turn my box up and it doesnt respond as well, but thats a 12 not a 18

Sub up, port up. Port at the end of the tailgate so it can counter load off the rear.

I'm a little worried about the roof being able to take the pressure but nothing a bit of second skin damplifier can't fix
