December 13, 200816 yr Author awesome. looks like fun..**Disclaimer** SSA is not responsible for any damage done to laptops. hehe I knocked all the tools off the shelves in the garage while filming this videomy router bit set was spread all over the place..the little wood box broke when it hit the floor
December 13, 200816 yr Author well 142 at 25ish hz will do that sometimes..lolyou should see the store windows downtown when I drive thru....insane for some little 10"I'll be adding two more subs over the next couple of weeks then I'll be able to use upsome of that extra headroom that amp looking spare tire hasprobably add another 5-6 db to that score
December 13, 200816 yr Sweet, It looked like it stayed pretty flat from 25-30. How flat does the response stay?
December 13, 200816 yr I wonder if 3 icon 10'' in a port box built to spec.out perform 2 Fi Bl 12'' in a port box built to spec.under same conditions???thats in SQ and SPl ??
December 13, 200816 yr Admin Nice work Trevor. Love the bit at the end. I am almost a little worried for your neighbors when some Xcons get up there.
December 13, 200816 yr Author I would go with the 3 10" Icons over the 2 12" Fi'sthe low end of these 10" Icons is even stronger than my RF 12" T2's....LOLthis set up is as far away from SPL as you can get....I can gain another 6db just by changing the boxbut that's not my goalmy friends call me REMAX because all my neighbours want to move.......
December 13, 200816 yr proves mark was right about icons bein louder than t1's and i guess now t2's
December 13, 200816 yr Author I wasn't overly impressed with the T2's....with 2.25cf3 per sub(12") tuned at 35hz they hit 143db..it was somewheres around 37hz..had them in for about a month..blew 3 of them and gave the last working one toa buddy...he blew it ..they did move alot of air and they hit really hard butI never did get the results I wanted from them on the really low stuff so they were abandoned I'm only 1db off with my Icon 10's in a 2.25cf3 31hz box at 25hz
December 15, 200816 yr WOW thats insane low end...pretty impressive for 2 10show big is the enclosure?edit: nevermind Edited December 15, 200816 yr by Jason907
December 16, 200816 yr Author I can't wait to get some numbers with the 4 Icons.....always wanted to hit the 150db club in the 20hz range or at least get close to it
December 16, 200816 yr Very inpressive  How much power are you throwing those Icon 10s? Another sub that I also think destroy the T1 and T2s are the SS RL-p's!
December 16, 200816 yr Author I got the Icons on a Crown A3000gti....I don't have the birth sheet for it but the thing has ALOT of head room
December 16, 200816 yr I can't wait to get some numbers with the 4 Icons.....always wanted to hit the 150db club in the 20hz range or at least get close to itthat would be awesome, i want to try and do the same but i am so limited on space. it looks like so much more fun than the 40hz and up "chirping" subs that get loud. maybe 3 icon tens and another saz1500 is in order for me....
December 18, 200816 yr Author I wish I could feel those low end monsters! hahathe guys in Napa Auto Parts say that the whole store rattles when I drive by I love strong low end..it moves alot of air
December 19, 200816 yr ahhhhhhhhhhhhh dont say anymore before I buy some 10" icons hahaMy 12 gets some nasty lows though, I should get it metered.
