Will somebody please explain to me where the length of the port is.

In order for my box to be tuned to 32Hz it has to be 22.5" long but which piece of the box is it?

is it C or B?

The length of the port is measured down the center of the port. Because it has an turn in the port you must count the turn also, So it will be b + half port width + half port width + wood thickness + c

so what I have is:

A.) 8"

B.) 13"

C.) 9.25"

I'm assuming the corner going from b to c is a square of 8".

last question is how to calculate the square inches.

if I need 144 sq inches and I am over is that a big deal?

oh and I just got my BL today that is why I have the sudden burst of "I need to build my box"

you mean 144sq in for the port area? if so that is way to much for a bl. unless its a 18" going into a 9 cu. ft box

yeah its an 18" and its going in a 9 cubic foot box

9 including displacements?
