Hey !

I have 15" AA Havoc D2 in 3CF sealed. The sub is 1250 RMS.

I wonder if the 1500D would be worth the extra money (450$ vs 600$, domned Israeli taxes) or maybe the difference won't be that big.

someone told me that the difference would be 1.5 dB because the latter is half more power than the 1000D.

What do you offer me to do ?

Even 1.5 dB is not a huge difference unless you compete in SPL. Your woofer will be loud with either amplifier.

An SAZ-1000D is an underrated amp, so it will be perfect for 1250w RMS @ 1 ohm...with the SAZ-1500D you have a higher risk of thermal failure.

In my opinion, you should just get the SAE-1200D; which is rated at 1200w RMS @ 1 ohm.

The 1200D didn't arrive to Israel yet.

The point is, I already had 1000 RMS amp (PG 15.0.1) and I felt my sub can be louder but I don't know how much extra bass I'll get fron the 1500D comparing to the 1000D mentioning the price difference is 150$

Just get a 1000D then.

in the right enclosure ive seen people feed havocs around 1800rms. and a lil more.. very underrated subs

Yeah, I dont see a problem with a 1500D, as long as you can handle the volume knob!

i would go with the 1500d just because u might wanna add a sub down the round and a 1500d will do the trick.like he said though, just know your limits with the volume knob!!!ive got 4 1500's and just with 1 hooked up,my 4 12's are bangn!!!!!its worth the extra few dollars!!!

Like Jacob said 1.5 is not that big of a deal unless you compete. the 1200D is a good it will do around 1200 to 1500 at 12volt's. Some what as the same as the 1500D might save you some money. But the 1500D will do more power at a higher volt's were the 1200D will not (1200D 12volts ONLY). Just your call on what you are willing to spend...

But he doesnt live here, so he can only get the 1k and 1.5k sundown amps

Would the improvement be 1.5 dB or maybe more ?

I have 2001 Mazda 626 stock 80amp alternaton with 560A battery. does it matter ?

My Havoc had reconed and got strengthened so I wonder if he would sound better\louder with more power ?

About adding another sub, would the 1500D handle 2 havocs ? I doubt it

id suggest porting if possible you will see a much larger increase than a couple hundred watts
