Well, I posted the Uber for sale on CA.com and SD figuring it would get snatched up quick. I have a TON of interest, but the caliber of the interested parties is rather well, eh. I see now why Josh sold them the way he did. So, now I am stuck with a dilemma. I don't really want to use this in-car because of the worry of theft. Once gone, it cannot be replaced, but I really do NOT want to sell this to some idiot either. That will just ruin it.Actually, I really don't want to sell it at all. If the car was able to be garaged, there would be no problems. So, people of TeamSSAudio, I challenge you to help me decide what to do!! :4123357f3da0f6e125a54: :faintthud:

Like I stated on CA.com, send it to me, I have a nice peavy 800w rack amp that I could use for HT

Or you could hide it in your trunk and have it insured.

I like the first one better though :P

so the real question (to me at least) is to sell it and get like 400 or to risk having it stolen....i say sell it, doesnt matter to who as long as they have the funds

Tom

Seal it and do a false wall bolted up with security screws. That way they wont even know its there and they wont be able to get anything out or even attempt to harm it.

I agree with steve

Security bolts will piss them off. And they will poke holes in your cone. Then you will be paying for a recone.

Thats what the false wall is for. They won't be able to access the equipment, and the only thing they can damage is the wall which would be hitting a piece of mdf :lame:

Dont sell it....

You will only realize that after you sell it how much you miss that sq goodness

Ahhh I just skimmed through your post. I didn't see the false wall part :)

KEEP THE SUMB1TCH!!!

what's ur first instinct? whatever it is, go with it.

it would be cool in the cutty, in ur apartment (as in h/t of course) or just screen the potential buyers like josh did.

all of ur options are decent, u just have to think them through.

but i know how u feel about selling to just anybody. a friend of mine will sell his equipment to the first person with the right amount of cheese, regardless of if that new owner will take care of it or not. burns me to the point i actually get mad. but there is nothing i can do, not my stuff.

anyway...go with ur first instinct, it's rarely wrong!

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee:slayer:

<tear>

Keep it till you can use it. you know as well as I do, its a one of a kind. in BNIB condition to boot. If you need cash right now though, its understandable... just screen the idiots a little.

Here's my thought:

Enclosure size: Vas

Tuning: Fs

Should yield an F3 at tuning correct. Add in transfer function and that should dip down into single digits. Now for an idea on vent size. How about a big 10" port?!! Possibly powered by a new beast.

nah, not pounded... it was also tones, simply to make sure the TL was in proper order. LoL

It does have wicked output in a mid sized sealed. insofar, that is the only thing that i've gotten around to trying with this sumfemale dog.
