Just wait till you talk to nick... I don't have an answer for you because I do not know :)

O.

I was under the impression that you "just" ordered them.

Still you need to talk to nick about getting it fixed.

Since they changed the way they do the leads I'm not sure on how this option is executed. But it was a thicker lead added for SPL purposes and could create tinsel slap when playing music. My question to you is what do the leads look like on the sub? Are they above the spider or sandwiched in between spiders?

I would just run the sub as is. If a problem develops, then you can take nessessary steps to resolve it.

The original extreme lead option was heavy wire (as used in the BTLs). We added this as an option for the people wanting to use the BLs for SPL high current applications where the standard lead has too much resistance and could be an issue. It was not intended for daily.

BUT, since we switched to the integrated lead setup, then extreme lead option simply adds an extra set of wires to the mix. No issue for daily whatsoever and just increases the current carrying load. Nothing detrimental by any means.

Thanks,

Scott

Good To Know, I'll Get The Extreme Lead Option On My Next BL If It Helps Thermal And Mechanical Power Handling,
