2.2 ohms - any lower will pop the breaker. You can't get any more than that from a standard 15-amp breaker for long as we were seeing over 19 amps.

I feel priviledged cause I get to see those palets of sex all the time in person. Jake is only an hour and twenty minutes from me and I bother him and Brandon on a regular basis. I don't get all that excited anymore when I see the wall o amps, but it's still cool none the less.

On another note that sub is taking the power like a champ. I'd like to see the sub on a 240 volt socket. I once put a L7 12 on 240 and it didn't even play, it just popped with a blue flame.

Hell just get you some 10ga wire and hook it straight to the breaker box..

I've been playing with electrical panels for quite some time, just find your main and run a separate 50amp line off it to a Range/oven outlet. Get a plug for it, and connect the red and black wires to the terminal ends of the woofer.

BTW, 50 amps of 220 should be run with 6ga, up to maximum of 50 ft. If you want to run 4ga, you can use a 100 amp breaker...

what does that equal for wattage with a 4 ohm load? with a 2 ohm? what's the formula?
