Posted February 10, 200916 yr I just ordered a sub and im pumped at how much it will pump. I ordered a 10"Q, Dual 1Ohm, Burgandy Dustcap to match my car and i cant wait to install it. Before i buy amp and deck what would you guys prefer to power this thing im looking to run 800W-1000W. Ill post pics arrival and install. Thanks a lot guys.Steve.
February 10, 200916 yr Because you ordered a dual 1 ohm subwoofer, you'll need an amp that produces that wattage at 2 ohms.
February 10, 200916 yr i suggest a kicker 750.1 or 1000.1 since they do their power @2ohm. 1/2 ohm is not recomended for the majority
February 10, 200916 yr I like half ohm. I doubt the OP will be able to deal with .5 ohms and the chance for popping the amp should box rise drop below that.

February 11, 200916 yr Author Dual 1 Ohm is still good right this isnt gonna bite me in the ass when it comes here and i go shopping for an amp and other stuff will it?
February 11, 200916 yr Admin You could use a SAZ-1000D. Should do fine at .5 ohm. Or a SAZ-1500 at 2 ohm.As I would love him to buy an SAZ-1000D, he has to know that running it at lower then 1ohm will void warranty.
February 11, 200916 yr Author Thanks for the info this far, but would it have better for me to have bought a dual 2 ohm sub? Can someone please explain the pros and cons of them? please and thanks
