im looking to get a bigger amp. i currently have a power acoustik 2000/1d doing like 950-1100 RMS. i just want to know how much power a 12" BL can take with all options except the extreme lead. 2 ohm coils. ive been reading around and see that the SAZ-1500 is a great amp for it. but im not sure if i can afford the price tag. is there a cheaper alternative to it?

the box is tuned to 34 Hz if that matters...

1500rms would work nicely if you know what your doing.

an AQ 1200D would be a nice alternative. Does rated power.

how do you know if its doing rated power? the amp i have now says it does 1200 rms at 1 ohm but i dont think it does that.

i was looking at the AQ 1200 and it looks like a good amp. but i dont want to pay for it if i dont know its an upgrade..

is there any other place but AudioQue's website to buy the amp? and what about the aq 2200? would that work well if i set the gain to around 1500 rms.
