Posted February 24, 200916 yr Well, here it is... It's a 2004 Land Rover Discovery SE7. I don't turn 16 for another 3 months so I guess I'll have to stare at it till then . But here are my plans for it (audio wise)...(1) IA DP 21", (1) AQ 2200D, (1) Deka 9A31, Knu wiring, and other chit... Was going to do dual DC LV4XLs, but this set up will save me $1k & I'll get that 'WOW' factor when people see it.With out further ado, some pics:One, GREAT thing... I can lock it w/ my stock keypad where no internal door handles/locks work. This means that even if they break a window to get in, they can't. No Door unlocks work...only my remote. February 24, 200916 yr Awesome vehicle! My biddy drives an early 2000 model rover and though it has quite a few electrical problems its great. It takes curba like a champ
February 24, 200916 yr nice ride, hope you have a nice chunk of change set aside for maintenance and don't blow it all on your system because those things are not cheap to service
February 24, 200916 yr Author nice ride, hope you have a nice chunk of change set aside for maintenance and don't blow it all on your system because those things are not cheap to service yarp...I know. But luckily, I don't pay for the servicings & replacing parts...just anything I want to add-on.

I have to just stare at it for 3 months when most everyone of my friends will have their license by then.
February 25, 200916 yr Dude if mommy and daddie loved me like ur's do you, I would GLADLY look at it for 3 mths
February 25, 200916 yr Im a big land rover guy, and have a 93 range rover classic myself. The d2s are extremely nice, but just don't plan on lifting it They have too much electrical to lift, and this series of disco land rover did away with diff lock and installed the fully functional traction control. So no lift kits

So no lift kits I don't want to sound rude or anything but everything you just said was wrong lol. I still have diff lock (center only, but that's what all LRs have regardless of the years), Hi & Low, and I can lift it with ease. The 2004 is actually the best Discovery II offroad wise.
February 25, 200916 yr nice ride man the car i haev right now does the same thing as yours when the dorrs are locked you can pull on the handle all you want on the inside but it wont open lol
February 25, 200916 yr Author nice ride man!do the lvl4xl's!eh IDK lol. I've already talked my friend into a pair of those (15") and I don't want to have the same setup as him lol. I'd save a chitload going this way and it's still one hell of a sub.I also think that the scores will be relatively close in the right box.
February 25, 200916 yr just did a bit of research...can't find a lift kit anywhere for this discovery. found lots of coil over conversions to replace the airbags though. now 94 or older, i found a couple of 2" kits. not starting anything, but if anyone is going to dispute anyone, post some links to collaborate your side. i'm curious as to who's right. also, i hate the fact they will lock up the transfer case, and call it a diff lock. or center lock, or whatever, lol. if it's not in the pumpkin, it's not a diff. at least not by old school thought process. but these are some whelling luxo beasts, a lift kit would be cool!wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

LOL here's a pic of a range I did back in 2003
February 25, 200916 yr Awesome first car, brings back memories of when my buddy and I flipped his parent's land rover.

They make lifts, coils, bumpers, skid plates, rock guards, etc... They sell 2" Body Lifts & 2" Suspension lifts. They are basically, the best lifts you can buy for Land Rovers. My model doesn't have airbags 'I Believe'. I know for sure the back doesn't, haven't really checked the front. I'm guessing it doesn't though b/c the relay in the fuse box for auto-suspension is missing so I figure it never had the air springs.Website: www.rovertym.comJust browse around and you'll see.Well you're right it doesn't have 3-way locking diffs. The ONLY SUV to have those off the line is the Mercedes G-Wagon that I know of. I don't even think the Defenders have those but I could be wrong. The 'center' just makes where front & back get equal power. But the left rear can spin faster then right rear if it has less weight on it's side. What mine could look like if I was a serious offroader:BTW, that's the same year as mine.
