Have some prototype 5.25" components with the tweeters in the kicks.

4x SAZ-3000Ds

1x SAX-50.4

2x Nightshade 15s

6x Powermaster D1000s

2x Harrison Labs Flux Caps

you think those flux caps help?

I know they do - they aren't really caps :)

They step up my 12v system to 17.9 to charge my 16v bank - my 12v system is stock except for an HO alternator. Easiest way to add a 16v bank, IMO.

Now thats what I'm talking about. :bigclap: Also did you mention prototype mids??? Is that a sneak peak of things to come?

I was about to ask too.

Soooo many wires in that setup, nice work. Have a H.O. Alt?

Looks like you could us some copper bus bars?

Too expensive - but I am going to use 2" x 3" angle aluminum @ 1/4" thick for it soon. Also going to bolt that to the floor board for a good ground to the chassis / to keep the batteries from sliding.

That is actually cheaper than copper about equal to what I have.

You know my email. Provide you with some help, maybe I can?

Jacob,

dumb question, what exactly is a flux cap, I assume its different than regular caps... Running that with 16v bats in the bank, works on a 12v elect system?

cuz I might just boost my saz-3000 to 16v then...

If you want them I can get them for you, by the way.

I don't know about all that - but I do plan to put some sort of air suspension on the back... it sags like crazy.

Jacob,

What kind of sound damper do you use? My mini-SUV rattles like crazy.

Edited by rk772

I don't have any yet - but Second Skin is my choice and what I will be using when I do deaden the Jeep.

Looking good!

How do the proto comps sound?

They sound pretty good but I need to re-do the grilles before I can say much... the Jeep grilles are angled downward so totally kill midrange response.
