Yes sir :) It outputs a True RMS power figure automatically, very cool.

I wants one :captain:

damn! Sundown never ceases to amaze me! looks good! i am proud of u Jacob! u done did good for urself! by the time that "5000" comes out i will be ready!!

i was just guessing when i said 5000D... but it seems most likely considering the figures / Sundown power reputation..

Any benefit in having these made in 18"'s over the 15" version. I am getting an itch for some 18's and I haven't even got my other 12's in yet

I was just thinking about asking about some 18"s of these.

But I want the X's to bad. lol

whats the rms on the Z15's?

  • 2 weeks later...

2495 watts @ 149.9 dB - (One SAZ-1500D on 17.9v)

So with just a hair over rated power I am darn near 150 dB on two Z15s.

Not too bad, huh ?

That 1500D sure is putting out the power... I averaged two 149.9 dB runs (2420 one run / 2570 the next) to get the above power figure.

I posted too soon... while I was uploading I let the Jeep run and charge and the 1500D put out 2640 watts and 150.0 dB exactly :)

Well....aren't we just showing off..... :rockwoot:

I snapped this real quick of one of my runs - 2550 watts:

My meter measures about 5-6 seconds into the burp and is a True Power meter.

It says "2.55 kw" in case you can't tell due to the blurry-ness.

Thats "some what" close to the power that the Saz-2000 would be putting out on 14.x volts.
