is CA glue or the new epoxy included with a recone? i need to know if i have to find my own, or it's included

No, you'll need to get your own glue. Locktite 5 minute epoxy is about the best stuff out there to use.

thanks for the replies guys...i haven't recieved a response from him yet, so i dunno...plus idk if my stuff went out already. if it has, then oh well..ill just use the epoxy. so is the consensus that locktite is the best? or should i just look for the highest psi holding strength 5min epoxy?

also, what's the best for spacing the VC? in the past ive used manila folder, thin cardboard, etc...anyone know what's best here, so i can get it done as quick as possible w/o going on a hunt for something that'll fit in there snugly

The manilla folder is probably your best bet. As far as the epoxy I like the Locktite the best and I've used a couple other types. It just seems to dry the smoothest and really holds awesome. The CA glue that you would get from Jacob would't be for a small fee. A bottle of that costs somewhere like $100 from what I remember. So unless he has only a little bit in a bottle that he would sell for much cheaper your better off getting the epoxy. I would honestly just go with the epoxy all together. If you could get some of the flexible CA glue that he has for the surrounds that would be sweet, but epoxy will work absolutely fine.

alright, sounds good...i assumed the ca glue wouldnt be cheap. at hobby shops, that small little bottle is like 7 bucks, and by the looks of it, i would probably need at least 2 per sub. ill go the epoxy route, but maybe ill just go for the 1hr stuff so i dont have to rush, and could possibly get a stronger bond. thanks NS

what is your real name i can tell you if we shipped it out? also we can send you CA with it if it didnt ship yet i would recommend that you use 5 min epoxy around the spider landing after it has set in place and dried to cover the flat lip of the spider (usually takes about 2 tubes ) get the kind that has the mixing tube with it. as for spacing use 12 sheets of paper (thats what we use) if you have any other questions let us know
