basicly when i hook up the 12v source it cuts on without the rem connection and stays on, even if i conncet the rem.

i'll recheck it in the morn, cuz its rainin, but yea.

Make sure that there arent any loose wire strands that might go from the remote connection to the power connection.

is that a new amp.. or u have been using it b4 ??

Might be a contact between the 12+ & rem terminals in the screw block....?

Check the pcb, maybe a short on the board...? Though, I Hope not...

No I finnally bought that power acousitik a3000db. Brand spankin new..

Just hooked it up and it wont cut off, lol, im tryin to get a new one.

But basiclly i leave it connected, and it hasnt seemed to run down my batt. I mean when i cut the car off you can hear the speakers like pop, so maybe it is cutting off, just the led is stayin on..

my friend had that problem with his power acoustik amp, he had some of his rem wire in his power wire terminal.....left his amp on the whole time he was at work......

The LED in my SPL stays on after I turn my truck off, eventually it dims and goes out. May just be something in the brand.
