Im trying to find out which sub setup would be the loudest. All these subs have good enough sq for me. Im trying to stupid loud but only have 6cuft to work with and my amp is a sundown 1500. I dont want to use more than that in my trunk. All of the choices below are for the max recommended ported box specs. It will go in the trunk of a tahoe. The box & port will face the back. Tell me if theres anymore info you need. I want explanations also.

-1 BTL15 in a 5cuft box

-2 BL12 in a 5cuft box

-2 SSA Icon 12 in a 5cuft box

-2 Alpine Type-Rs 15 in a 6cuft box (cheapest)

I also have three other choices but lower than the max ported box specs. Im sure it wont be that big of a difference in a smaller box. If it makes a big audible difference i could go to 8cuft for either of the choices below.

-2 SSA Icon 15 in a 6cuft box

-2 BL15 in a 6cuft box

-1 BTL18 in a 6cuft box

Right now i prefer the type r's out of everything. Any one now any numbers on the type r's as well?

i'm leanin towards the 2 15" icons. that's if you want insanely stupid loud. but that will give you pretty good music too.

if you don't care about how it sounds too much, go 2 15 BL's. either way you'll be really happyyy

put 2 12 icons in a PTS box. the one he built for two 10's put out some crazy numbers, two 12s can only get better

If you are worried about peak output, the BL's are designed to have more peak output then the Icon's. I would love for you to buy Icon's, but I am not going to lie to you for it to happen.

I Say Two Fi BL 15"s. (Even The Fact That I Am For Sure Switching To Cascade Designs, I Will Always Be Behind Fi/AA 100%, And At Least One Of My Vehicles Will Run A Fi/AA Product For That Reason, Great Subs, Great Customer Service, Bottom Line.)
