Got my setup running yesterday and it hits the top end of the spectrum with ease I am finding the lows are a little lacking ? (16cuft wall, tuned to 30hz)

They are brand new subs and the suspension is super stiff, will playing them over time make the lows better ?

Reason bein my previous Re Mx install played the lows very well straight away.

Give them 30 minutes of good hard playing time and you should hear some difference.

MX is a totally different woofer from a BL. Not sure if you will ever get the same low end with BL's you had with MX's.

Really depends on the enclosure in your case on how well they like the low's.

Mx's were 12's in 6 cubes tuned to 33hz.

BL's are 18's in a 16cuft wall tuned to 30hz.

you shoulda went with Q's.

they are made to play loud down low.

BL's are nice woofers though, but IMO they are more of a 40 hzish type woofer :)

I dont think it's the enclosure by any means it is totally reinfornced, fibreglassed inside and is virtually bullet proof.

Mind you speaking with then European distro for Fi/AA he says they need to loosen up before the lows start hammering properly.

Im willing to bide my time and try it.
