could a bl 18 with just cooling handle a saz 2000d? my buddies wantin to get the 2000d but he dont have flatwind so he mite get the 1500d.

For one BL I would go with the 1000 or 1200 at the most... Personally I think he should be trying to get another BL if he wants 2000 watts.

This is a quote from Scott, the owner of Fi:

Now if you are looking for a daily sub to beat on and you have less then 2000 watts then this is the option for you. 2000+ watts you need to look into the BTL series

A fully loaded bl could take it if your smart, but without flatwind I wouldn't try it. 1500d would be a good matchup.

yea hes goin with the 1500d. i have bl 15 and a 1500d and it hiiitss :D

You can put any amplifier on any speaker. It all comes down to the hand on the volume knob. The same bad hand that could blow the BL with the 2000D can also blow it with the 1500D.

1500D might be a "bit" overkill but like KU40 said, you can put any amp to any speaker jus dont be listening to the 1500D all the way up because your gonna be hurting your sub. The SAE-1200D would probably be perfect IMO
