1 12" Q with BP Power on a Rockford Fosgate 1500w amp wired at 1 ohm (so the sub will see 1500w) or 2 10" SSDs with flatwind coils and a US Amps MD 2D (so the subs will see around 750-900w a piece)... Both would be sealed setups. Thanks for the help

yes

why louder and sealed? you need to rethink everything.

no questions. just answers :)

2 10s they move more air.

Thanks man for actually answering my question instead of just trying to be funny like the rest of these guys

im not trying to be funny... no one can really tell you...

i mean if you think best case... on both set ups..

then you would go with cone.. IF they were the way sub.. .but.. they are not.. your compairing 2 ssd;s to 1 Q...

honestly no one can tell you unless they have owned both set ups.

To top it off the question makes no sense.

You ask for louder, then have a Q in the list. On top of that it is in a sealed box. Either you don't want loud or you don't get it.

how does it not make sense? im asking for which one would be louder. im not asking for the loudest setup in a ported box just want to know which one will be louder. i listened to my friends 12" q today in a sealed box with 800w and wanted to know how 2 10" ssds would compare... maybe i should have said that in the beginning but i thought someone would just answer the question

and thats what m5 was trying to tell you...

if your talking LOUD then you should perhaps let us know what loud is.....

loud is genral.. means somthing diffrent to everyone...

low hard or high....

but most people mean low.. and hard...

in this case sealed is not the best option or someone like this that prolly listens to rap..

ported would give you more of the output you may be looking for..

M5 was trying to find out what your goals were.. so that he could better help you.

and you put your nose up

i would love to go ported but i cant. these subs are going under my truck back seats. the only way i could go ported would be 1 10" SSD ported... which maybe isnt a bad idea come to think about it lol

If you use your car alot and you like music that you can feel get the subs. if not then party money for college.

Then maybe you should have said what you have for a vehicle and that you want to be loud. Before asking I would expect that you would have searched diligently, figured out how much airspace EXACTLY that fits under your seats, what other people have done with your same vehicles, and then give a description of what you want that was detailed. A quick read of the Terms & Conditions of this site that you agreed to when you joined would have made this abundantly clear. Instead you make a completely useless thread that will make it harder for others to search. Please rethink your methods and follow the rules of the forum.

fosho...
