My enclosure is 1.3 cu ft sealed, should I add some poly-fill to soften the boom a little if so how much should I use, 1lb, 2lb, somewhere inbetween ?

That depends. What woofer are you running?

I added somewhere in the neighborhood of 3 lb's for my 5.5 cu ft box at home to reach the sound I wanted. I recommend trying it to see where you like it.
