If i were you i wouldn't get pioneer subwoofers. sure they have decent subwoofers, but that is not what they specialize in. i would stay towards brands that specialize in subwoofers rather than home audio and all that. I would recommend the Fi Q 12" subwoofer to you. It isn't quite as loud as the BL, but its sound quality is much much better. It hits the low frequency notes better than any other subwoofer i've ever heard, including the SSA Icon.

I oughta sock you. Pioneer is as good a company as any. Sure they may have a different focus, but don't you dare say they don't make a mean woofer.
