Oh, I thought you bought it new. It does look like an older style BTL though. I'd wait for someone with a bit more knowledge on the Fi subs to chime in. If it is a BTL it will handle 2,000 watts. I'm not sure how to tell if it has any added options.

I believe this is right. If I remember, the 3rd magnet was an option.

Looks like a bl,and third mag was an option. I think they stopped selling the dual mags because noone was pruchasing them.

there a dual mag on sale on the forum here and it doesnt look like this sub. this one looks like a BL. back plate is totally different.

Magnet is wayyyyy too small to be a BTL.

So if this is not the btl,and it is the bl I just got a 1000w sub?If so,I'm feeling I got ripped.I payed 230 cuz I thought I was getting a powerful sub.Now I got a 1000w sub to take up my whole trunk for nothing. Right now I have 4 dvc dual 2ohm pioneer 12's and a 1600w hifonics brutus.I was looking for more and was plan on adding more power but,I guess I got ipped like I said before.

i say u should try the bl and u might think it is better then the pioneers. i think it could handle that amp.

just my two cents

230 is a fair price, new they used to go for 300+

and it will pound harder than those 12's in a good box by the way

Lmao, That BL Will Straight Clown That Amp If It's Even Mildly Loaded.

If you build the box right, that BL will make those 12"s sound bad, and seem quiet.

The 12"s configuration is bad anyway..... got to be some HORRIBLE cancellation going on there.

its a bl and its gona be nasty loud. my buddy has 1 and i got a 15 bl.

it can take that amp easy.

The BTL magnets are much wider than yours, you have a BL my friend. 18" BL's go for $350 new so you did good. They also handle upwards of 1500 watts.
