and some form of terminal cup for box

i just want to know if this will/should cover everything to get my sub up and pumping :)

Any replies appreciated !

Thanks

Yep, all of that will be fine. Don't use a terminal just run the cable through the box.

:)

Best way to run cable through sealed box? without air leak lol !

and thanks bud. need to get spending :)

looking at the pioneer DEH-P7000BT .. Decent?

Edited by Pezzaboi

I'd use bolt terminals on your box. Running it straight through the box look sloppy.

Yep bolts or just run a lead straight out and seal it with glue/gripfil.

We can build enclosures, just send us the sizes.

ok, mate gunna come up with some dimensions, may be able to do it myself we'll see... a rough price? will be 2-2.6 cubic foot. sealed.

cant find bolt terminal cups on blade ice, the knuconcepts bit that is, where sells? im having a quick browse

By bolt terminals, he means drilling a hole in the box and using an actual bolt for the terminal....i think brass bolts work well.

I wish we got Vauxhalls in the US :( I guess technically we do, just rebadged, but still.....

Yep, i think most people on here will.

No we don't have Opel, we have Saturn. GM and Ford don't like selling their sweet euro cars over here, we get the crap for the most part ;)

And what are the banana plugs for?

  • Author

ok ill go for that, unless bladeice can sort that kinda thing out ;)

and bananas to put on 12 gauge and could go into one of them banana terminal cup things

  • Author

do you think 4 Gauge amp set is enough for Q and sundown 1000

  • Author

i just cant decide HU, alpine -CDA 9882, CDA 9884, iDA X301, CDE 103, iDA X303

its like which are better, which is worth the money? the most

no experience :(

I Like To Run Eclipse Products Myself As Far As The H/U Goes. Try Looking At A CD-3200, Awesome Foundation For A System.

I think a 200 amp is too big.....I'd do some research, cause I'm not sure about that.

4 Guage will be fine. And I don't know about the HUs, I've only owned one, a sony HU but I'm looking into an alpine 9886 or 9887 ;)

  • Author

ok so 4 gauge will save me bit of dosh,

just looked on SSA and says SAZ 1000 is 3 x 25A where as the UK dealer site says 3 x 30A... which sucks lol so confused there

wish i could get a 9887, well i could but i dont wanna go that far :(

im going to check out eclipse
