Posted May 15, 200916 yr Anybody have any experience with the Z15 sub? Thinking about pairing one 15 with an SAE-1200D or SAZ-1000D. Also, what would be better, the SAZ or SAE? The Nightshade might be a little overkill for my tastes so I figured the Z15 might be just what I was looking for. Any feedback would be appreciated.
May 16, 200916 yr Author Thanks Sundownz. Have to wait until next week to order but I can't wait to get my hands on this stuff!!!
May 16, 200916 yr Author I love my Z's. They are better in pairs lol!True that!!! I bet those 15s and that 2000 rock huh. I got a Crown Vic Police Interceptor. It has a stock 200 amp alt. If I did the big Three, would that be enough to support the saz-2000d and 2 Z 15? Ya know, I was just thinking.......
May 28, 200916 yr Just got my Z15 D2 installed yesterday. Gotta say, between Jacob's service and the quality of the products, I know I will be ordering from Sundown again. I got mine running off a US Amps XT2000d giving it 1,000 watts rms in a 4.0^3 ft box (I forgot sq in of port) and this thing gets plenty loud, but most importantly has stellar sound quality. Obviously it still needs to break in fully, but its out-of-the-gate performance has exceeded my expectations (which were high mind you).
