im wonderin what the specs will be on this amp as far as how many watts at what ohm. and i plan on gettin 2 BTL's so what VC config would i get them in and hoiw would i wire them??

He lies , apparently someone tested and got 4040rms @11.3volts @ 1ohm

and over 2000 @ 2ohms

Rated 1ohm stable but like the rest of the SAZ series amps they are tanks and will take serious abuse. The saz-3500d I've been testing has spent 99% of it's life so far @ 0.25ohm and that's where it will stay for most of it.

The 4 ohm rating is equal to the Audioque 3500D:

It is based on the typical expectation of power output on a 4 ohm reactive load at 12.8 volts.

not sure who all has even looked at all the pics for both but I know that there is a big differance between the two!! not sure how they could be rated the same. from looking at the pics of the boards there are some important differances!! which should make a differance if final rating. but I will same that you just make stong stuff jacob!! if this is the case are you thinking of rerating the whole product line?

I have considered re-rating the 4 ohm power of the other amp models as well - on a reactive load most 1 ohm Class-D amps don't do a while lot at 4 ohms with 2-3x impedance rises putting the amp at 8-12 ohms most of the time.

I think that it was entended for the actual 4 ohm rating including the rise so would it be the power output when it rises to 4 ohms? and to 8 or 12 ohms?

All of our amps would be rated higher at all loads if we used a resistive / reactive after rise rating - they are conservative to account for voltage drops and actual reactive loads for a number that you can reasonably expect to see in a real vehicle on music program.

Eg: With the 1 ohm rating you can generally expect to see that much power even after a normal amount of rise above 1 ohm.
