June 10, 200916 yr Hmmm. . . .My vote is for a single BTL 12 if you only have that much air space.I am not sure if Nick caught that you only have 2.5 cuft of airspace total. . .You playing music at all, or just burping?
June 11, 200916 yr I'd say 2xBL but you said you only had 2.5cuft which isn't enough...In the pic it looks like you could go bigger than 2.5 unless you personally don't want to
June 11, 200916 yr I would go down to 2 10" bl if you are stuck on fi but I have seen plenty of times where the aq hd3c out does the bl in spl and the aq is very close to the btl for alot less money

June 11, 200916 yr ok dont mean to thread jack but i have the same basic question.2 12" BL in a 2 separate boxes at 2.5 cu ft after displacement each sub ported to 34 hz or 1 15" BTL in a 4.5 -5 cu ft box tuned to 34hz. which would be powered by a Rockford 2500BD. both set ups would be put in a 2 door car and half walled in the back under the rear deck, facing the cabin of the car.Which set up is more than likely going to be louder?

June 12, 200916 yr 2 BL's would be louder..hmmm I went from 2 18" loaded BL's to 1 18" loaded BTL and I'm way louder now. With his space I'm thinking the 1 12 would be better.
